In the Role

As a Sales Development Representative you will work with our Customer Success and SMB teams reach their targeted utilization, activation, and revenue goals. The overarching focus for this role is to generate, qualify, and set meetings with new business prospects using primarily outbound sales calls and email cadences.


  • Drive Amplio's revenue growth by getting school districts to register on the Amplio Platform
  • Do high volume of outbound calls utilizing prepared messaging and set meetings with targeted decision makers 
  • Leverage Salesforce CRM and other tools to drive sales growth and create a pipeline for strategic go to market efforts for Customer Success and SMB teams
  • Understanding K-12 Special Education School District needs to create an effective value proposition
  • Creatively personalize messaging and map accounts to ensure the right people are informed about the value that our solutions bring
  • Research, question and listen to our customers to fully understand needs and present solutions to fulfill their requirements
  • Update Salesforce account activity with good notes for effective follow-up 
  • Track results and targets for meeting set numbers, conversion, and meeting attendance
  • Report on new business opportunities and prepare pipeline analysis for the sales team.



  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 0-2 years sales development experience with a proven track record exceeding goals (B2B, SaaS preferred)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Salesloft (preferred)
  • Located remotely in Texas or the Washington DC Metro area
  • Ability to travel on an ad-hoc basis up to 25% of the time
  • Enthusiastic Self-starter, goal-orientated, and customer-centric
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively as well as manage multiple concurrent sales cycles
