In the Role

As an Account Executive you would be responsible for selling our SaaS SpEd platform into SMB K12 school districts with less than 19k students. You will  manage specific territory with a focus on expanding existing accounts and signing new logo business. 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Generating pipeline that leads to closed revenue and quota attainment through execution of outbound sales activity (email, cold calling, ect.) 
  • Selling on value and return on investment vs. technical functionality
  • Building credibility and trust through listening and having detailed knowledge of the SpEd industry and how the K-12 public education system works
  • Influence buying decisions with multiple stakeholders with competing priorities
  • Generating interest and landing new logos with heavy outbound calling and executing email marketing strategy
  • Demonstrating adaptability and flexibility as part of an ever-growing sales organization
  • Uncovering target school district SpEd initiatives and pain points to map back our solutions
  • Partnering with internal resources in order to drive additional value and expertise
  • Obtains customer or industry information that assists in responding to customer's needs and requirements; 
  • Understands the formal and informal decision making process within each of the accounts



Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of full cycle sales experience, 
  • Based in Texas, or Central Time Zone
  • Experience with high-growth SaaS companies preferred
  • Experience managing a large list of accounts that are a hybrid of existing clients and net new prospects
  • Experience selling to a broad range of decision makers with competing priorities
  • Ability to build and present executive-level slide decks which break down complex/technical information and present them in an easily digestible manner
  • Expert salesforce user
