 In the Role

As the content marketing specialist and writer at Amplio you will be part of the corporate marketing team, responsible for developing, researching and writing a wide variety of content designed to increase awareness and interest in the company's products. You will interface directly with the company's thought leaders, advisory council members, and customers. Feel free to share samples of your work along with your application.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Work with key stakeholders to create a content marketing strategy and editorial calendar that supports critical business goals
  • Own the end-to-end editorial process for content, including ideation, research, drafting, & design
  • Analyze content performance, and use metrics to iterate, improve and maximize results
  • Write long-form content such as eBooks, whitepapers, thought leadership content, blogs, and other marketing collateral such as video scripts, brochures, case studies infographics and other content related to the Amplio brand
  • Develop new content for company website
  • Write short-form content including outbound emails, social media posts, and other content related to the Amplio brand
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of the industry (trends, breaking news), our competitors
  • Work with internal teams and customers to develop case studies and testimonials
  • Work with product and pedagogy teams to turn Amplio research into marketable assets


  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, copyediting, or content development in a technology company
  • Native English speaker and writer (required)
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a deep-rooted understanding of what it takes to engage readers with riveting content. Proven experience, with a portfolio of writing samples.
  • An expert storyteller, knowledge of the K12 space (an advantage)
  • Experience researching and writing copy for long and short-form content pieces such as whitepapers, eBooks, case studies, infographics, etc.
  • Experience working with subject matter experts to develop content
  • Highly creative, with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong understanding of content practices such as SEO, SMO, and PPC.
  • A collaborative approach to work and a shared ownership mentality; ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
