Sr. Product Owner (special education leaders)

We are seeking an excellent and experienced product owner to join our growing product team and take part in developing a new reality in special education, utilizing the powers of state-of-the-art technology. You will join a successful, dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that translate Amplio’s mission and vision into large-scale impact on children’s lives. You will be involved in customer-facing activities, and will use data and users’ feedback to define and drive new products and features.

It is a rewarding and challenging time to join Amplio. We have penetrated the K-12 market with a revolutionary system, and secured large-scale government-level deals. This is just the beginning - there are 10 million students we should help, profound impactful capabilities we should build into our system, various areas of need we should delve into, and dozens of acquisition targets.

We are now transitioning firmly into a scale-up business, focusing on high-utilization and high-fidelity deployments. In parallel, we need to further increase our first mover’s advantage by continuously developing technologies that will keep us lightyears ahead of competition.

You will be responsible for creating a new reality and an excellent experience for leaders of school-districts and state-agencies, including commissioners, superintendents, deputies, special education directors, professional SpEd leaders and other stakeholders.

Our new Sr. Product owner will report to the Chief Product Officer, and collaborate closely with all the company's departments.

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day

  • Build expertise on market needs and trends. The face of education leadership is changing rapidly and you should be our expert.
  • Develop and champion a compelling K-12 leadership product vision, strategy and roadmap, using product management methodology.
  • Define, specify and manage product requirements through a cross-functional team, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Analyze product feedback through interviews, focus groups, beta sites, analytics, to rapidly iterate and optimize the product.
  • Work, in tandem with marketing and sales, on creating messaging and content to support the product and evangelize new concepts. Work with all customer-facing teams - sales, pedagogy, implementation - on introducing new products, concepts and capabilities. Provide hands-on support in sales processes, e.g. proposal authoring.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in product management roles in high-growth B2B SaaS environments.
  • Experience with product ownership.
  • Experience with BI and Enterprise Software.
  • Ideally experienced in converting analog environments to digital.
  • Successful track record with USA market and Israeli product development teams.
  • Fast learning curve of new industries. Highly analytical. Hands on.
  • Proven record in delivering amazing customer experiences.
  • Expected to travel Israel-USA very frequently.
