Summary: Responsible for providing remote, digital psychological, consultative, assessment and counseling services to students and collaborating with parents and educational teams regarding the participation challenges of each student in the educational environment.



  • Select, administer, score & interpret assessments and observations to evaluate the intellectual, emotional, and behavioral functioning of referred students and to determine student eligibility for special education services according to federal and state regulations
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and attend meeting in collaboration with the Educational Team
  • Conduct group and/or individual counseling for students in accordance with the mandated Individualized Education Plan
  • Consult with school staff regarding implementation of behavior intervention plans and in managing behaviorally disruptive students
  • May provide clinical supervision to LSSP practicum student, intern, or trainee  
  • Complete daily session documentation according to Medicaid guidelines
  • Complete monthly or quarterly progress reports 
  • Participate in staff meetings and/or trainings as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned


  • TX State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP) Licensure
  • Knowledge of current trends in delivery of school-based psychological and counseling services focused on participation
  • Minimum of 2 year experience working in a school-based setting preferred
  • Experience providing services via telehealth preferred
